After more than thirty years on stage, creating roles in musical theatre, farce and dramatic works, I’ve learned two very important lessons: take what you do seriously but it’s a complete waste of energy taking yourself too seriously. You always end up on your face when you do.

As a freelance theatre director, I’ve had the privilege of directing productions including “The Phantom of the Opera”, a production which received an Australia Day Award in 2015 for it’s impact on city community culture, “How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying”, receiving 4 Del Arte Chart recognitions, and the Queensland premiere of “Nice Work If You Can Get It”, which received 7 Del Arte Chart recognitions, including Favourite Musical.

In 2018, I will be directing a major production of “Chicago” in Brisbane and releasing a new Youtube series sharing marketing techniques for creatives.

I consult to independent and community artists and production companies, providing advice, support and training for the development of effective branding and marketing for creative projects.
